SYNOPSIS:

On March 20, 2004, Mohamed Omar, a 23 year old Somali male, was the driver of a vehicle traveling Northbound 14th Street near J Street in the City of San Diego, California. The passenger in another vehicle nearby fired several gunshots at Omar's vehicle. Omar was wounded and later died of his injuries.

The victim and his brother had earlier been involved in a fight with a group of males. It is not known if the same group of males were involved in the shooting.
